  • We would like to thank you personally and share a first hand story or the digital recordings from the comm units that “XXXX” and I had on while we fought our way out of that God for Damn saken Hell Hole of a two story death trap taking shrapnel from IEDs while dragging two dying soldiers backwards through dirt, dust, blood and darkness. All the while you can hear our 1911s and MP5s chattering away in the background while they are full of sand/blood/gravel/shrapnel, and oh ya…GUNBUTTER!!!!! Thanks!

    Cath you later,
    JT II

**A correction that needs to be made is that it was a third member
of my team grabbed the M60 from a Hummer and provided cover fire
for “XXXX” and I while we ran the gauntlet to get to the door. We
call him “OHOH”, but please don’t use his name either until our
contract is up. Against my orders he stood in the middle of the
street with no cover firing an M60 from his shoulder while
holding 600 rounds…Try that sometime! He’s an Ox!

Gun Butter really works for bikes, bearing and chains. All moving parts. It’s part of my winning arsenal. It’s not just for guns.

Thanks for the Butter. It really works, “I’m living proof!”

    Mark,

I have been wanting to email you for about a month, Im back in Afghanistan again, and I’m running low on gun butter.
I am happy to hear about your NC plant contrats. I preach gun butter to all of my guys and I have nothing bad to say about the product. its easy to clean, collects min.
amounts of dust. And my weapons have NEVER jamed since I started using gun butter.
So I’m going to be needing some more here soon. I’m working on getting a list up for my guys and who wants some. so I’ll be placing an order soon.
    Take care my friend,

    SGT Kinsey

    Mark,

I was deployed to the middle east in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in late 2005 and through most of 2006 with 1st Special Forces Group. We received a small shipment of your product through SOF channels while we were over there.
We immediately tried it in all our guns and absolutely loved it!

Gun butter is the only product we found that reliably worked in our M-4 Carbines and M-9 pistols in all temperatures and weather conditions. We only wish we had more to use on our .50 cals and M240B’s, but due to limited quantities we saved it for the weapons we needed and used all day every day.

I’m looking forward to my next deployment and will definitely be taking Gun Butter with me. Failure is not an option for us and Gun Butter always performed. Thank you for making such a great product and continuing to refine and make it better.

    Sincerely,

    Staff Sergent Joe *****

  • Hey Buddy, what’s up?

I would like to point out that your support may well have been the reason that we made it home, yet I know that you are not the kind of person who advertises by beating their chest.
I have tried just about every lube on the planet in the most extreme situations imaginable and whenever I “test” lube there are usually bullets coming at me as well as RPGs and mortar rounds. People do not understand that in absolutely perfect “backyard” or most “shooting range” conditions where the weather is beautiful and everything is nice and clean that most lubes will work, but people like you and a product like GunButter is not only designed for those perfect condition days, it is also designed for those times when you’re belly crawling through the mud and muck in a downpour slamming mud caked magazines into your pistol while praying to God the Calvary arrives pretty soon. In that situation, believe me; you won’t care if your lube cost a million dollars as long as you KNOW it WILL WORK! Now, if you think this only relates to soldiers you would be sadly mistaken. Civilians are not used to gunfights, so there is a real good chance that things will go bad quickly should you ever need to use your gun in self defense. You may very well drop it in the dirt, in a puddle, in the mud, kick it under the car, limp wrist it when you fire the first shot, short stroke the slide, etc, etc, etc. Now, given the fact that ALL of those things are likely to happen, wouldn’t you like to know that there is a lubricant out there that can help save your ass in those situations?? Well, there is, and it’s called GunButter. If your life and the life of your loved ones is not worth $14.95 I would seriously suggest taking a step back and taking a look in the mirror, because something is wrong. You can’t feed a family of four at Taco bell for that much money and you think it’s too much to spend on a bottle of lube that will take care of all of your firearms for likely a very long time? Come one now.
    Thank you so much!

    Catch you later,
    JT II

    Hello my friend.

I hope all is well. I hope you enjoyed your holiday. I can honestly say that we started the new
year out with a bang, got in a short hour and a half fire fight. all of my guys that used gun
butter sang its praises. they love it and are hooked. And SPC Zoltak loved it. After a long
dismounted patrol, dust, shit water, and gettting beat around his weapon fired with zero
issuse. Just figure you would like the up date.. Take care.

    Hey Mark,

I finally got my package today. I am very happy with you, thanks for all the extra stuff. You have always went out of your way to help me out, and I thank you. I am looking forward to trying out the new formula Gun Butter. I gave a oil pen to all of my gunners and my dismounts. I hope we get a chance to use it. I have already used the new Exterior Wipe-Down System you said to be introduced soon, to wipe my weapon down. It looks AMAZING! Thanks for that. I hope all is well and I keep you in touch as I get the chance to try new things with the Gun Butter.

The author of http://www.gunbutter.com has written an excellent article. You have made your point and there is not much to argue about. It is like a universal truth that you can not argue with.

    Thanks for the info,
    Joe B.

    Mark,

I like the new formula. It almost seems thinner so it is applying to paces and spreads out extremely even. I have recently started using it on my MK19 also. I have not got to fire it yet so I am not sure how it performs, but I will say it is charging a lot nicer. I have been letting a lot of the guys try it out. I have been cleaning their M9s and lubing them up and the first thing that all of them say is way, it charges so much smoother. I believe that everyone has been
extremely happy with it so far. There is nothing like a nice freshly cleaned rifle to charge and feel the smoothness, but when you can take your rifle at the end of a mission and it is covered in dirt and grim; moreover, it still charges just as smooth. In my book, that is a great product. Also thanks for the rag, the outside of my weapon looks amazing when I clean it. I looks like I spend hours on my weapon, but with the help of gun butter, it takes about 30 mins. I then have a nice and clean rifle inside and out. I hope all is well with you. In addition, it was amazing that the gun butter worked for the clippers to.

    Mark,

I have news for you.. the past week here has been hell.. its been right at or below freezing. the whole time. well last night it hit a low. possibly single didgets.if not the negitives. this morning after leaving the weapons out all night the metal was frozen to each other.. once i broke it free the weapon charged with no issuse. i looked at the GB on the inside of the weapon. it didnt gel up or anything. after 8 hours of extreme cold it still looks like it just came out of the bottle. i figured you might like to know.

    ATTN GUN BUTTER:

I just got back from a week of intense training in Yakima WA in preparation for overseas deployment. Again i used gun butter in all my guns. The weather changed constantly from 80 degrees with high winds and dust to 26 degrees with the wind chill and raining/snowing. I’m happy to report zero malfunctions, jamming, or issues with the rifles on my team that used gun butter. The guys who used regular CLP had some reliability issues and needed to correct them more than once.

Cleanup was a snap too, on the weapons that ran with gun butter. It took minutes to wipe down the bolt while the rifles using CLP took scraping to get clean. Thanks for making an amazing product. I’ll be getting my company to buy your product prior to deployment.

I’m glad that I’ve found your http://www.gunbutter.com web site.
What a fantastic blog!! I loved how detailed each of the entries were. They were well balanced – fun and informative – and the pictures were great too.

Yea I personally use Gun Butter on my personal rifle in the military, just trying to get my unit to switch over to Gun Butter. I went to a Short Range Marksmen Class for a week and fired around 4k rounds without cleaning my M16 once and only had one double feed. And cleaning was a breeze to, just wipe down and your done, the bolt tail was the only the part that required any scrubbing and the back of the bolt carrier. I use the locking lug grease on the bolt and lugs and gun butter every where else. Makes clean up 10x easier and never fails when I need it!

    Thanks,
    William

    Mark,

I am a US Army Paratrooper in the 173d Airborne Brigade Combat Team. I was turned onto your products by my stepfather, and have religiously used and preached gun butter to my peers. It has done wonders for my weapon
system (M14 EBR) and has offered performance without so much as a hiccup in some very austere environments and all kinds of weather.
Myself and one of my fellow soldiers SSG Matthew Matlock are starting a shooting team called West Texas Gunfighters. I would love nothing more than to represent your outstanding product in our competitions.
We are going to be shooting in tactical 3gun competitions.
Stay in touch. Once again thank you for an outstanding product.

    Sincerely,
    SPC Broadhurst

GB ran a mark19 last night thru 22 rounds in the snow, Let your buddy know the 23 year old gunner(who breaks everything in sight!) ran the gun and said it never felt smoother. Those things are problematic out here with the dust, but the GB worked better than LSA on it. He now is a believer,,,YES Damien, you were right about this stuff, MY A-2 loves it and the m-4s I painted with it are still running great from 3 weeks ago(these guys dont clean after every action, they are an artillery unit doing grunt work) They all ask me for the GB now but I only have a full pen and half a large tube left, thats for me until Hildi sends more(2 tubes in my shop from Red’s) chat later.

mark your always easy to deal with. I know i say it a lot but i couldnt be happier with the products. i use the greasers to grease the gun mounts on the aircraft and for lack of a better word they are as smooth as butter.. and last longer then the grease that normally goes on there.

    SGT Kinsey, Christopher

  • I love your point of view and seems like I’m not the only one.
