I just received my Gun Butter this morning (thank you very much!). I went over to my friend’s
medical device company and used his Chatillon force tester to run a few quick tests. I don’t
know what you have in your product but it’s nothing short of amazing.
I anchored a piece of alloy on the base and attached an identical piece to the force gage.
In effect, the two pieces just slide across each other in a controlled speed and load. I ran
it first with MED 360 (a silicone product that’s an industry standard).
I then wiped down the surfaces with MEK and alcohol and applied the Gun Butter.
There was a 60% decrease in friction as compared to the 360.
A stunning result, to say the least!
I’ll contact the distributors that I know and see where it takes you. I am really impressed
with your product and you also seem to be a very nice individual. That typically adds up to
success.

Thank you. Yes, I was using Gun Butter in my open gun at the Alabama match. I use it in my AR now as well. Will be stripping out old lube and using Gun Butter the next time I clean all my other guns also.
I’d always figured all lubes were the same. However, ever since you sent me that sample, I’ve changed my opinion. I didn’t have to change between a summer and a winter lube like before, and Gun Butter is the only lube I’ve ever used on my commander length 9mm open gun that doesn’t splash up on the C-More lens when the gun gets hot.
Although skeptical at first, I am definitely a Gun Butter fan and am convinced it’s a superior product.

Hi, I wanted to leave a comment on your site.
I’m just a “normal” gun owner, mainly a 1911 fan to include some nice old Colt 380’s.
I was never happy with gun lube products and their claims on how they will “slick and protect” your pistol as “ours is the best”. I was spending lots of money on different products. Having a machinist background, I felt I would know a good product by its “feel” on metal.
Then, I saw this tiny bottle called ‘Gun Butter’. My thought was “well, here is one I haven’t tried, but it’s so tiny? Butter eh?”
Now I like butter and know how it slicks my fingers if I get sloppy eating. I also know what butter does with heat. Hmm….
I tried it a couple years ago. I could “feel” a marked difference from the very first gun I used it on! I was amazed by the “feel” it had and knew my instincts were right about a true gun lube. It slid easier, the trigger pulled easier, I shot better. Heat had freezing weather no effect on it at all.
All I can say is thank you. I am a user for as long as you have your product.
